Natasha Dalton – Senior Osteopath
Natasha Dalton is a highly experienced Osteopath who has been helping people move better, recover from injury and improve their quality of life for more than 25 years. Since graduating with a Master of Osteopathic Medicine from Victoria University in 1999, Natasha has worked in a variety of clinics throughout Melbourne, Brisbane and the Bellarine Peninsula before establishing her own practice, Feel Well Osteopathy, in Ocean Grove.
Deeply invested in her patients health and wellbeing, Natasha is passionate about providing personalised, evidence informed care that addresses the whole person—not just their symptoms. She believes that understanding the cause of pain, educating patients about their condition and empowering them with practical strategies are essential for achieving lasting recovery and preventing future injury.
Natasha has extensive experience treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including back and neck pain, sporting injuries, osteoarthritis, shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand complaints, hip, knee and ankle injuries, headaches and migraines, repetitive strain injuries, and rehabilitation before and after surgery. She particularly enjoys caring for women, young children, adolescents and older adults, tailoring every treatment to suit the individuals needs, goals and stage of life.
Her treatment approach draws from a broad range of Osteopathic techniques, allowing her to select the most appropriate treatment for each patient. Depending on the condition, this may include gentle Cranial Osteopathy, indirect techniques, soft tissue massage, positional release, muscle energy techniques, joint mobilisation, stretching, strengthening exercises and personalised rehabilitation advice.
Natasha’s professional career has also included teaching the next generation of health professionals. She has worked as a Clinical Supervisor at Victoria University, mentoring Osteopathic students as they developed their clinical skills, and as an Anatomy Tutor and Demonstrator at Deakin Medical School.
Movement has always been a central part of Natasha’s life. A former elite gymnast, she has participated in a wide range of sports including netball, cross-country running, swimming, gymnastics, yoga, strength training and aqua aerobics. Her lifelong involvement in sport, combined with her own experiences recovering from sporting injuries, has given her a practical understanding of the physical and emotional challenges that accompany injury and rehabilitation.
One of the most significant influences on Natasha’s approach to patient care was sustaining a spinal fracture in her twenties. The intensive rehabilitation that followed gave her first-hand insight into the profound impact that pain and injury can have on both the body and mind. This personal experience has shaped her compassionate, patient-centered approach and strengthened her commitment to supporting people through every stage of their recovery.
Natasha also has a longstanding passion for yoga and the connection between movement, breath and nervous system health. She completed her 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2009 and has taught and practiced yoga within the Ocean Grove community. Her disciplined daily yoga practice continues to influence both her personal life and her clinical practice. She believes that restoring calm to the nervous system is an important part of healing and often incorporates breathing strategies, movement education and mindfulness principles into her patient care where appropriate.
As a mother of two boys, Natasha understands the physical demands and challenges of family life and appreciates the importance of helping people stay healthy, active and able to participate in the activities they love.
Patients often describe Natasha as warm, kind, compassionate and approachable. She is committed to creating a supportive environment where people feel heard, understood and confident throughout their healthcare journey.
When she isn’t in the clinic, you’ll find Natasha practicing yoga, strength training, enjoying the outdoors or spending time with her family, embracing the relaxed lifestyle of the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula.
Natasha’s goal is simple: to help you recover from injury, reduce pain, restore movement and confidence and enable you to return to the activities that bring meaning and enjoyment to your life—so you can truly feel well and live well.
